The resort is targeted at the upmarket ‘Center Parcs’ demographic having recently signed a management contract with Wyndham Hotels, the largest hotel chain in the world. Wyndham are especially interested in the site’s central France location enabling access to the lucrative M.I.C.E market.
The initial phases of development and funding are already complete. The current investment will run for 12 months, with this phase focusing on renovating 10 existing buildings into 34 apartments and a number of facilities including a luxurious spa in another 16th century Chateau.
A 12 month loan note is on offer with 18% returned at the end of the term. The loan note is 100% asset backed to provide investor security. £1.3m is the total senior debt requirement with a minimum investment of £25k.
